So, the group started a month ago, and we've some awsome work up. I've made some categories within the gallery, but I don't know if people submitting can choose, or if they're the best way to organise people's submissions. Any other suggestions for catgories?
I was wondering about making it so fave submissions needed to be seconded, or maybe two others to approve?
As always, suggestions welcome...

Back to the title: I've recently come accross a couple of projects which have inspired me to new work, and was wondering if anyone has any inspirations they'd like to share? Not necessarily directly book-related, maybe an event, or some work on dA- things which have got your creative juices bubbling over onto some empty pages... or glueing pages togeather. :)

These are mine- The first maybe because it fits in with how I work so well. An artist making a book every week from his offcuts, sketches, waste paper etc: [link]
The second is a project I've joined in: [link] I've got a book, and want to take theims from it, and show their universality, but no imagery has really come to mind yet.

INFO ON :iconbook-arts:

I was looking for some kind of club or group dedicated to book-arts but couldn't find one. What I was looking for was somewhere to find other people's book-based art of any kind, to look for inspiration, and somewhere to share some of mine with other people who love books.

I suppose what I'd aim for is all of the above, but also somewhere that the definitions of book arts con be probed and prodded. It can range from sculpting with or into books, to binding blank books of your own, many places in-between, and hopefully forms which I've not thought of or imagined...

OK, some rules & guidelines:
- I've added an upload limit to the gallery (3/day) as, althought I'm glad peole are keen to share their work, the gallery ends up dominated by one person's  work when a huge batch is uploaded at once. Please only submit your own work to the group galleries- anyone elses that you think should be here either suggest as a fave, orr just tell them about the group, and ask them to submit it themselves.

- I've created some galleries based on the main different kinds of work I'm aware of, so please submit to the correct gallery. There are naturally some crossovers, but do as you think. I'll occaisionally go through the featured gallery and sort it a bit, but I'd prefer things to be where you think they should be.

- There are different categories in the Favourites section, so utilising them when submitting will make it easier to browse what your interested in...

- Ummm... maybe theres more? What have I missed?

Any kind of suggestions and ideas for the group gratefully recieved. :)

Actually I've never done this, so I don't really know the procedure, but I did find a 'contribute' button, so I guess it's that easy :) But they are gonna be judged by an admin, right?
